If you have plan to celebrate a wedding ceremony and to get a legal recognition wedding in Bali below is detail information about the documents requirement to administers a marriage license in Bali. You are required to have both a religious and civil ceremony to get legally married in Bali. Recently the civil ceremony is often consolidated with the religious ceremony. Here are the details ;

LEGAL WEDDING – US$ 850 including:

  • Religious Ceremony by Religious minister*
  • Religious Wedding certificate
  • Civil Wedding Certificate
  • Document processing
  • Assistance during the ceremony
  • Personal escort to your Consulate (valid only for consulate office located in Bali)
  • Pre-wedding meeting service with our staff

 

*Additional US$150 for Islam Legal Wedding

*Additional US$350 for Hindu Legal Wedding

*Additional US$450 for Catholic Legal Wedding at Catholic church Bali

*Above rates are excluding 11% Government tax and 5% Service charge. Due to new regulations applied start 2020, Legal wedding will be subject to review and approval by local civil office authority after document completion. 

Legal Wedding package is NOT including :

  • Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage (CNI). The charges will be vary depending on your consulate/embassy. We suggest you may contact your country representative embassy or consulate in Indonesia or Bali.
  • Translation your documents to Bahasa Indonesia by Sworn translation. The charges will be depending on the language of your documents. Happy Bali Wedding can assist you in the translation if it is required. 

Documents Required : 

  • Copy Passports of Bride and Groom
  • Copy Birth certificates of Bride and Groom
  • Copy Death certificate of former spouse (when relevant)
  • Copy Divorce certificate (when relevant)
  • Copy Baptism certificate 
  • Copy Passports of 2 witnesses. (If you do not have any witnesses, Happy Bali Wedding may assist you with this).
  • Original Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage (CNI) or Affidavit issued by your country representative office, Embassy, or consulate located in Indonesia. 
  • Fill in the Legal Wedding Form
  • Eight (8) photographs (6 x 4 cm) of the couple in same photo. Photo must be of the head and shoulders only, side by side, looking straight ahead. (Be advised that these photos will be attached to your wedding certificate).
  • All documents written in other foreign languages must be translated by the SWORN translation to the Indonesian Language. 

Additional documents for Catholic Wedding Ceremony:

  • Baptism Certificates – Mandatory 
  • “Letter of Freedom” issued by your Parish Priest or other Church Official, declaring you have never been married and are therefore free to marry
  • “Letter of Delegation” issued by your Parish Priest or other Church Official, declaring that they have no objection to your marriage ceremony being performed by a Priest from the Catholic Church in Bali.
  • Pre Nuptial Course
  • Pre Marriage Inquiry
  • For a Catholic wedding, it is compulsory to be held at the Catholic church.

For Moslem or Islam Wedding Ceremony :

  • Copy Passports of Bride and Groom
  • Copy KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk) for Indonesian
  • Copy Birth certificates of Bride and Groom
  • Copy Death certificate of former spouse (when relevant)
  • Copy Divorce certificate (when relevant)
  • Reference letter from the local KUA (N1, N2, N3) for Indonesian
  • Six (6) photographs (2 x 3 cm) with blue background
  • Six (6) photographs (3 x 4 cm) with blue background
